How to Exit a Spent Frame
While considering the incompleteness of knowledge, of the physical book and of the archive, I became interested in the incompleteness of the photograph as well. Framing is both an existential condition and an existential threat for photography. Through these images, I quietly nurtured a desire for escaping outside to the unknown elsewhere but trying to expand a photographic frame only creates a cyclic trap. The images are assembled both from photographs and camera-less scanner pictures.
